Missouri State University conferred 2,404 degrees during its spring commencement ceremonies May 17 at JQH Arena.
Scholastic honors were given to 114 students who graduated summa cum laude (with a grade point average of 3.9-4.0 on a 4.0 scale), 165 who graduated magna cum laude (with a GPA of 3.75-3.89) and 269 who graduated cum laude (with a GPA of 3.5-3.74).
The following area students received degrees:

• Monroe - Kory A. White, BS, Shelbina.
• Pike - Christopher T. Kempke, BS, Magna Cum Laude, Curryville.
• Shelby - Alexandra G. Milner, BS, Shelbina.
