Lilly McLeod won the Kiwanis Club of Hannibal’s “cash-car-mule” raffle drawing Saturday, July 6, in Central Park.
McLeod will have a choice of winning a Dodge Dart, a Kawasaki Mule or $15,000 cash, according to Bill Webber, chairman of the fund-raiser.
At 8 p.m. Saturday McLeod had not yet returned Webber’s telephone call, informing her she was the winner.
Two people won $30 drawings earlier Saturday, Webber said.
The noon $300 drawing was won by Pat Newell, and the 2 p.m. $300 drawing was won by Mary Jane Bush.
“It was a great success, and we appreciate everybody‘s participation,” Webber said of the raffle fund-raiser.
“That’s how we are able to spend at least $30,000 a year, mostly on the youth of our community.”
The raffle drawings were in Central Park during the Kiwanis Club’s 37th annual Samuel L. Clemens Arts & Crafts Festival. The festival began July 4 and concluded on July 6.
