Lola Belle Hurt, 93, of Macomb, Ill.,, and formerly of Hannibal, Mo., died at 11:41 Friday, June 7, 2013, at Bickford Assisted Living in Macomb, Ill.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor John Keck will officiate Burial will be at Dover Cemetery in Maywood, Mo.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
Lola was born June 14, 1919, in Ewing, Mo., to John Thomas and Gertrude Lee Sublette Hurt.
Survivors include 2 nephews, Joseph Rossmiller (Michelle) of Macomb, Ill., and John Rossmiller (Billie Jean) of Wonder Lake, Ill.; 1 niece, Julia Stapleton (Christopher) of Navarre, Fla., and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters; Anna Rossmiller and Esther Clark.
Ms. Hurt worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone. She was a 14-year resident of Jefferson House in Macomb, Ill., where she had many friends. She was a Baptist by faith.
