Dylan Tylar O’Brien, 22, of Hannibal, MO died at 12:55 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, in Hannibal, MO.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Rev. Mark Albee will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hannibal, MO.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 11, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Dylan was born to Mark O’Brien and Charla R. Otten on September 13, 1990, in Hannibal, MO. Charla Otten preceded Dylan in death and at the age of two, Dylan was adopted by Dawn O’Brien.
Dylan is survived by his parents, Mark and Dawn O’Brien of Hannibal, MO; his fiancé, Katherine Labuary and their expectant child; 1 daughter, Autumn Lennox; 3 brothers, Damien O’Brien (Laura) of Hannibal, MO; J.R. O’Brien (Keizle) of Hannibal, MO; Chris Neff (Casey) of Moscow Mills, MO; 2 sisters, Brittanny Wojcik of Quincy, IL and Bailey O’Brien of Hannibal, MO, grandfather, Jerry O’Brien of Hannibal, MO, grandparents, Larry and Barb Williams of Paris, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Dylan was preceded in death by his mother, Charla R. Otten and his grandparents: Reba Faye Otten, Charles Otten Sr., Shirley Williams, Mary O’Brien, and Dorothy O’Brien.
Dylan was always smiling and happy. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Dylan cared deeply for his family and friends. He made people laugh and always wanted a hug. Dylan enjoyed football and playing video games, but most of all he loved the time spent with family and friends. Dylan was a Christian by faith and a member of the The Crossing in Hannibal, MO.
Memorials may be made to the “O’Brien Children’s Fund” for Dylan’s daughter, Autumn and expectant child. Memorials may be made in care of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
