  • Trevor Hubbard’s jury trial should be scheduled just as the blistering summer months begin to simmer down.
The 18-year-old was in Ralls County Circuit Court Tuesday morning with his attorney James Ochs.
In conjunction with the state, trial setting was pushed back to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6 at the Ralls County Courthouse in New London.
Ochs told 10th Judicial Circuit Court Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd he received discovery from the state last week and wanted time to review and also coordinate depositions.
Ochs said he will be prepared to set trial dates at the August court appearance.
Hubbard is charged with sexual assault, sexual abuse, forcible rape, felonious restraint and child molestation following an October 2012 incident with his 15-year-old ex-girlfriend.
He is being held on $100,000 cash only bond and is in the custody of the Ralls County Sheriff’s Department. He is being housed at the Pike County Jail in Bowling Green.
