Shirley Golian, 69, of Hannibal, MO died at 2:03 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
The family will receive friends at a visitation on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO.
There will be no services.
Mrs. Golian was born on June 17, 1943, in Frankford, MO, to William Rolla and Helen L. Ellis Ruby.
She was married to Marvin Golian, Sr. on May 11, 1974. He survives.
Other survivors include 8 children: Buddy Freday (Jennifer) of Carrolton, GA; Penny Powell of Hannibal, MO; Joy Wamsley (Scott) of Hannibal, MO; J.R. Crane of Hannibal, MO; Tonya Cox (Dev) of Hannibal, MO; Marvin Golian Jr. of Hannibal, MO; Michael Golian (Pam) of Curryville, MO; and Jerry Freday of Kansas City, MO; her mother-in-law, Ann Wheeler; 1 brother, Bob Ruby of Vandalia, MO; 3 sisters: Jean Yager, Rosemary White, and Sharon Bassnett; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Golian was a homemaker. She loved to watch old Western movies and especially enjoyed playing cards and computer games. Mrs. Golian was a Christian by faith.
