F&M Bank and Trust Company has announced that Joel Booth has accepted a new position as business development officer in Hannibal. Booth will be representing the bank in the business community and helping to grow business in this region.
Booth graduated from Hannibal La-Grange University in 2009 with a Bachelors degree in business administration. In May of 2007, while still in college, he began working for F&M Bank as a part time customer service representative. He served as the marketing associate for Financial Services Department, and after graduating, began working full time as a teller. In 2010 he took a position as junior loan officer and in 2012 became a loan officer.
Booth is president of the Hannibal Y-men’s club, vice president of the Hannibal Lions Club, District M3 State Lions Club athletic chairman, and is the immediate past president of the Hannibal Community Promotions Group. He also serves on the Hannibal Country Club Board and the Cavemen Advisory Board. He is an advisory board member of the Hannibal YMCA, is an active participant in the United Way annual fund drive and Calvary Baptist Church.
