A second trial setting for Rebecca Kirk could come later this summer or in the early fall.
Pike County Prosecutor Mark Fisher and Kirk's attorney, John Morthland, met with Judge Ben Burkemper Monday to fill the new presider in on the case.
It was a short discussion and by the time it was done, exclusionary dates were submitted and it has been determined that two-day jury trial for Kirk will be scheduled for August, September or October.
Kirk is charged with two counts of tampering with physical evidence in felony prosecution.
Charges arose after she admitted during the Calvin Duane Pettey murder trial she destroyed evidence that was and would've been used against him in the shooting death of Sandy Fugate in 2010.
