The Hannibal Public Schools’ Parents As Teachers Program will host, “Take Me Out to the Ballpark,” from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, at Clemens Field, 403 Warren Barrett Drive, in Hannibal.
In collaboration with the Hannibal Cavemen Baseball Group, parents and children will be able to “play” at the ballpark. The focus of this family-centered event will be physical/,otor development. Children will have opportunities to run, jump, hop, kick, throw, run the bases and experiment with a parachute. The activities will be designed for babies through preschool-aged children.
All children who participate in this event will receive a free ticket to participate in “Kids Day at the Ballpark” at 1 p.m. Monday, July 15. They will also receive a wrist band for a hot dog, drink and frozen yogurt. After the July 15th game, children can run the bases and meet the players.
Register for the May 17 event by calling the Parents As Teachers office at 221-3054 or e-mail email@example.com .
