A Nebraska truck driver sustained minor injuries Wednesday night when the tractor-trailer he was driving was blown over by high winds in Marion County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the mishap happened at 6:15 p.m. on U.S. 36 five miles east of Monroe City.
A 2009 International was being driven west by Mauricio Aldana, 36, of South Sioux City, Neb., when the wind knocked the trailer on its side. The rig came to rest in the median.
Aldana, who was wearing a safety device, was taken by ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
