  • Jim Meyer from the University of Missouri Extension will be the presenter for a program on food preservation at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 22, in the Agriculture Education Building in Monroe City.

  • Jim Meyer from the University of Missouri Extension will be the presenter for a program on food preservation at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 22, in the Agriculture Education Building in Monroe City.
    Meyer’s program will be on canning, freezing and drying foods. He also will be checking pressure cooker regulators at this class. Regulators should be checked each year for accuracy. Participants only need to bring the lids. This program will be followed by a canning demonstration in July.
