Uncover Rolla
Uncover Rolla” is a project developed by a Phelps County newcomer discovering beauty through photography in Rolla, Missouri. This project will contain photos from in and around Rolla. The subjects will be based upon nature, architecture and culture found on a weekly basis as the photographer scouts out new content. This project was realized by Rachel Jung in early Spring 2013. As an IT Analyst by day and amateur photographer by night, she is looking for Rolla’s hidden charm that is waiting to be \x34uncovered.\x34

With Spring we almost always get a good dose of thunderstorms. Today was no exception. It was pouring, windy and there were predictions of hail. I grabbed my camera, opened the front door and took photos of the black clouds moving overhead. My dad always says, “if there are bubbles in the puddles it means it’ll rain tomorrow.” There were plenty of bubbles this afternoon. It was raining sideways. The hail was light. Luckily.

Black clouds.
