  • Hannibal Carbide Tool has donated to the Smile-A-Mile Walk.
Marion County Services for the Developmentally Disabled in partnership with the National Down Syndrome Society’s Buddy Walk will be hosting the S.A.M Walk to help raise money and awareness for individuals with developmentally disabilities. Money raised for this event will go toward services and equipment for individuals with developmental disabilities who cannot afford or don’t qualify for funding through alternative means.
The Smile-A-Mile will begin at 9 a.m. on June 1. The walk will start at Central Park following Broadway up to Grand Avenue and then back to Central Park. After the walk there will be live entertainment and a variety of vendors.
Anyone interested in donating, forming a team, or setting up a booth as vendor can contact Kyle Steinmann at (573) 248-1077 Ext.109 or by e-mail at info@mcsdd.com .
