On Sunday, April 7, Ralls County Electric and Universal Cable Services crews will be temporarily stopping traffic on north and southbound U.S. 61, just south of Warren Barrett Drive near Selby Implement at Hannibal to install fiber optic cable.
Intermittent stopping of all lanes of traffic will cause delays of 10 to 15 minutes at various intervals between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday. The work has been scheduled on Sunday to avoid peak traffic hours.
Crews will have traffic reduced to one lane while crews continue to work in the area.
Brief traffic delays are necessary to install the cable across the roadway.
