  • Tate, facing multiple counts, waives prelim

  • Dylan R. Tate, 908 Pine St., Hannibal (born 1993) waived his formal arraignment in Ralls County Circuit Court at New London on April 2. A plea/trial setting is scheduled for 10 a.m. May 7, 2013, before Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd. He is being held in county jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
    He is charged with burglary in the second degree, a Class C felony; 8 counts of theft/stealing of a firearm, all Class C felonies, and 8 counts of receiving stolen property, all Class C felonies.
    He was arrested by the New London Police Department. The charges date to December 2012. He is represented by Eric Bond, Palmyra.
    Tate is also scheduled for a plea/trial setting at 9 a.m. April 15 in Marion County Circuit Court at Hannibal. He faces a Marion County charge of burglary in the second degree, a
    Class C felony. Arresting agency was the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.
