A 23-year-old Curryville man faces a drug charge following his arrest early Saturday in Pike County, Mo.
At approximately 2:15 a.m. a Pike County deputy was patrolling on Pike 255 (Mt. Zion Church Road). After stopping a vehicle for a traffic violation deputies allegedly discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia used to smoke methamphetamine during a search of the vehicle. Taken into custody was Devin Kirk, 23, of Curryville.
Pike County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Fisher charged Kirk with a Class C felony on possession of a controlled substance. Judge David Ash issued an arrest warrant for Kirk. Kirk's bond was set at $25,000 cash only.
At last report, Kirk was being held in the Pike County Jail in lieu of bond.
Additional charges are also pending for additional suspects for the offenses of minor in possession of alcohol and other traffic related charges.
