The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake invite interested groups or individuals to the Visitor Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, for a spring cleanup.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist park rangers with mulching, pruning, dead-heading, leaf removal and assist in overall sprucing and helping get the Visitor Center ready for another recreation season. Participants will receive a Mark Twain Lake water bottle to take home.
The M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center is located along Highway J just south of the Clarence Cannon Dam. For information please contact the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers by e-mail at email@example.com or call (573) 735-4097. Even though registration is not required, groups and individuals are encouraged to make contact so an estimate of supplies needed to accommodate can be made.
