Richard E. Shuck of Warrenton, Missouri, formerly of Hannibal, Missouri, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family on March 21, 2013. He had reached the age of 72 years.
He was born to Perry Amos and Ethel Francis (nee- Utterback) Shuck on May 20, 1940, in Hannibal, Missouri.
Richard was united in marriage to Leola May Simerl on October 26, 1962, in Memphis, Missouri. This union was blessed with two daughters, Gayle and Gennie.
He was a retired auto worker at General Motors in Wentzville, Missouri. He served his country in the United States Army. After retiring Richard enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling with his loving wife in their RV. He enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Leola, two daughters: Gayle Twiehaus and husband Tom of Warrenton, Missouri, Gennie Bartelt and husband Paul of St. Ann, Missouri; one sister Linda Lewis and husband Mike of New London, Missouri; three grandchildren: Sean, Dustin, and Hannah Twiehaus; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Perry and Ethel, two brothers and one sister.
Richards wishes were to have all services private.
