Culver-Stockton once again plans to provide young writers with real-world experiences by hosting the annual Young Writers Conference, Wednesday March 27. The conference will be modeled on the one-day conferences that give professional writers the opportunity to meet one another, hear presentations by successful writers, participate in creative activities, and receive critiques of their work. Seven creative workshops will be hosted, including one given by the visiting author.
Admission to the conference is free, and a complementary lunch will be served in the student center. The program will conclude with door prizes and awards for the best writing of the day.
