A Clarence woman was one of two people injured in a two-vehicle mishap Tuesday morning in Macon County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the crash happened at 8:40 a.m. on U.S. 63 one mile east of Excello.
Reportedly the accident happened when a 2011 Ford Focus, operated by Stacy C. Jefferson, 32, of Armstrong, failed to yield to a 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, driven by Charlotte A. Pflum, 83, of Clarence. The Monte Carlo struck the Focus on the passenger’s side.
Both Jefferson and Pflum were left with minor injuries. Pflum was taken by private vehicle to the Moberly Clinic. Jefferson was treated and released at the scene.
