Stream Team sponsoring cleanup

The 1819 Hannibal Stream Team is sponsoring a Bear Creek cleanup April 27. Volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to noon and will meet at the parking lot next to the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center.

To be guaranteed a T-shirt, register by Wednesday, April 3, by e-mailing mlrichards@hannibal-mo.gov or calling 221-0154.

Gloves and supplies will be provided, along with snacks and water.

A parent or guardian must accompany participants 11 and under. A parent and guardian must sign a waiver for anyone under 18.

The 1819 Hannibal Stream Team was formed last year to help protect Hannibal’s many waterways.
