  • On Sunday, March 10, Ralls County Electric and Universal Cable Services crews will be temporarily stopping traffic on U.S. 61 just south of Warren Barrett Drive at Hannibal to install fiber optic cable across the road near Selby Implement.

  • On Sunday, March 10, Ralls County Electric and Universal Cable Services crews will be temporarily stopping traffic on U.S. 61 just south of Warren Barrett Drive at Hannibal to install fiber optic cable across the road near Selby Implement.
    Intermittent stopping of all lane of traffic will cause delays of 10 to 15 minutes at various intervals between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Sunday. At approximately 10 a.m., crews will begin installing cable across the northbound lanes with traffic stopped for approximately 10 to 15 minutes near Grand View Nursing Home and Burial Park and Selby Implement. Beginning at about 10:45 a.m. crews will close the southbound lanes just south of Warren Barrett Drive and Red Devil Road for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
    When the highway is not closed, traffic will be reduced to one lane while crews are working in the area.
