  • Francis “Frank” James Oltman, 91 of Quincy, IL, formerly of Barry, IL, died at 10:07 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2013, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Greg Maize officiated. Burial followed at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
    Visitation was held on Saturday, February 16, 2013, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal.
    Mr. Oltman was born on June 27, 1921, in Hannibal, the son of John Henry Oltman and Minnie Radtke Oltman. He married Betty Smith in 1946, and she preceded him in death in 1975. His second marriage was to Dorothy Lucille Ransdell, who died in 1995.
    He then married Agnes Vincent Oltman in 1995.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, W. Henry Oltman, O. Lee Oltman, Richard H. Oltman, J. Herman Oltman, and Charles F. Oltman; and four sisters, Mary B. Oltman, Margaret H.Reed, Henrietta R.Hill and M. Louise McLeery.
    He is survived by his wife Agnes Vincent Oltman; one stepson, Thomas (Lois) Vincent of Barry; one stepdaughter, Sarah (Dan) Dolbeare of Barry, IL; four step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
    Memorials can be made to United Baptist Church, Kinderhook, IL.
    Mr. Oltman was a member of the Masons and the American Legion. He played the violin in a band for several years.
