  • Judge grants request for funeral furlough

    A preliminary hearing for Dylan R. Tate, 908 Pine St., Hannibal, (born 1993) has been scheduled for March 11, 2013, before Judge John Jackson in Marion County Associate Court at Hannibal.
    Tate is charged with burglary in connection with burglaries occurring from November to December of 2012, including one church burglary in Marion County and one in New London. Items taken in the burglaries include: firearms, computers, cash, jewelry, power and hand tools, safes, electronics and televisions.
    Some of the stolen items have been located and recovered.
    Tate is being held in the Marion County Jail on a $50,000 bond. On Feb. 11, Judge Jackson granted Tate’s request for a funeral furlough, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Feb. 12.
