Hannibal High School is offering an opportunity for students and their parents to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the HHS Annex, Room A104. The Annex is south of Korf gymnasium.
Counselors and a computer teacher will help and answer questions. It is recommended that students complete the paper version of the FAFSA before filing electronically.
The FAFSA form is used by the government to determine how much a student and family is expected to pay for education after high school. It is used by colleges and technical schools to determine eligibility for federal aid programs. Parents and students who cannot attend the Feb. 26 meeting may call the HHS guidance office at (573) 221-2733 to schedule an individual appointment for this service.
