A Perry man faces a felony drug charge following the execution of a narcotics related search warrant Tuesday in Perry.
Sheriff Gerry Dinwiddie reports searching the residence of Lawrence Dean Nett at 500 East Hill Street around 6 a.m. A search of the residence yielded recovery of a felony amount of marijuana, electronic scales, money and other items of drug related paraphernalia.
Joseph Brannon, assistant prosecuting attorney of Ralls County, filed a felony complaint against Nett for a Class C Felony (possession of a controlled substance). Ralls County Judge David Mobley issued a felony arrest warrant for Nett for the charge. Nett’s bond was set at $50,000.
Nett, born in 1962, was taken to the Pike County Jail.
Assisting the Ralls County Sheriff’s Department during the execution of the search warrant were the Perry Police Department, Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force, Missouri State Highway Patrol DDCC and the Hannibal Police Department K-9 unit.
