Outage darkens northern neighborhoods

A power outage darkened portions of northern Hannibal Monday morning.

According to the Board of Public Works, service was lost at 7:15 a.m. and impacted businesses and residences along Route 168 and El Rancho.

Power was back on in 70 minutes. The cause of the problem could not be determined.
