A fire on Friday night, Feb. 8, at the Bowling Green High School was quickly extinguished and caused only minor damage, according to Bowling Green School Superintendent Darin Powell.
Powell reported the fire was discovered at around 10 p.m. Friday in a storage area of the wood shop.
Powell credited the maintenance staff and firefighters for a quick response to keep the damage at a minimum. He said no cause had been determined, but the fire was not suspicious.
The A-C-T testing was done as scheduled Saturday, Feb. 9, and classes will resume as normal on Monday.
