The Centenary United Methodist Church, Seventh and S. Carolina streets in Louisiana, is hosting a “Sweet Treat Evening” fund-raising event, Saturday, Feb. 16. Guests are invited to attend the “sweet” part of the event between 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. when a selection of desserts, along with coffee and tea, will be served in the Fellowship Hall.
At 8 p.m. the “treat” portion of the evening begins when professional singer and entertainer Travis Spratt performs a selection of gospel and secular songs in the church sanctuary.
Persons planning to attend should make their reservations before Feb. 16. All seating is general admission. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are $10 per person, which includes both the dessert and show.
