Hannibal-LaGrange University will be offering another EMT-Basic class starting Saturday, Feb. 23, as part of the Emergency Medical Services program. The EMS program offers careers in pre-hospital emergency medicine.
The EMT-B class provides training to care for patients at accident scenes and in transport by ambulance to the hospital under medical direction. Additional programs will include the EMT-Paramedic, which may lead to an Associate of Applied Science degree, as well as offering refresher and continuing education courses to the Emergency Medical Services community.
