    74, of Hannibal
    Norman F. Miller, 74, of Hannibal, MO, died Monday, January 28, 2013, at his residence in Hannibal. He was born in Barry, IL on March 14, 1938, to Russell Sellars and Thelma Irene Hinch Miller.
    He married Rowena Joyce Davis on September 5, 1958, and she preceded him in death on December 29, 1994.  He later married Connie L. Hoover on October 5, 1996 at the Lake Hannibal Club House, and she survives.
    Norman served his country in the Navy on the USS Vogelgesang DD862.  Norman received the Good Conduct Award while serving in the Navy.  Mr. Miller had been an electrician at Caterpillar, Inc. in Peoria, IL.  While employed at Caterpillar, Norman received the Cost Saving Award.  He was a member of the 5th Street Baptist Church in Hannibal, MO and the Barry American Legion Post #222.  Norman enjoyed fishing, camping, computers, and politics. Norman loved his family, country, and military.  He was the number one problem solver and fixer-upper.
    Survivors include his wife Connie, of Hannibal, MO; four daughters: Rhonda Joyce (Mark) Stickhost and  Debra Irene (Roger) Johnston of Glasford, IL; Penny Marie (Greg) Potter of Evansville, WI; and Becky Lynn (Jason) Slater of Bloomington, IL; four step-children: Kathy (Tim) Dunbar and Brenda Smith of Hannibal, MO; Kevin Garner of Hazeldell, IL; and Bridget (William) Thompson of Quincy, IL; two brothers: Russell Junior (Dorothy) Miller of Quincy, IL and Thomas (Monique) Miller of Pittsfield, IL; three sisters: Wanda Kingery of Blue Springs, MO, Sue (Pablo) Lara of Pittsfield, IL, and Rosemary (Glen) Darnell of Liberty, IL.  Mr. Miller is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 10 step great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by five sisters: Betty Malone, Jean Niffen, Mardell Smith, Virginia Bagby, and Joyce Miller; three brothers: Melvin, Donald, and Richard Miller; and one grandson, Daniel Stickhost.
    Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry, IL, with Pastor Tim Dunbar officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Niebur Funeral Chapel, Barry, IL.  An evening meal will follow the visitation services on Friday at the Barry American Legion Post #222.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at the Maple Ridge Cemetery in Mapleton, IL; Graveside Military Rites by the Barry American Legion Post 222.
