Ten Hannibal-LaGrange University students received recognition of successfully completing the Emergency Medical Technician – Basic Course on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Burt Administration Building on the HLGU campus.
HLGU EMT Instructor Dot Lake presented the Top Student Award to Rachel Williamson. This award is given to the student who demonstrates outstanding leadership and academic performance in the EMT Basic Course
Other graduates were Adam Chance Borchert, Jonathan Daniel Dolbeare, John Vincent Green, Russell Gus Loutzenhiser, Jessica Denise Miller, Abbey Deanne Reynolds, Adriene Brooke Slawson, Katie Mae Smashey, and Heather Marie Smith.
After completion of the EMT-B class, these students are now eligible to take the next step in their emergency training at HGLU by taking the EMT-Paramedic course.
The next EMT-B class at HLGU starts Feb. 23.
