Driving up profits
Looks like our local gas distributors fleeced the city of Hannibal again this past week. I noticed on Wednesday that the price of unleaded gas in Hannibal was $3.14 per gallon, drove to Palmyra and it was $3.04 per gallon. I think to myself, well maybe the price just changed and has not made it to the Palmyra area. To my dismay, I was wrong, I drove through Palmyra again Thursday evening and gas was still $3.04, before finally rising to $3.14 on Friday. I think the local gas distributors are taking advantage of a larger population area to drive their profits up and line their pockets once again. I would like to say, Thank You! Sarcasm intended.
