    90, of New London
    Russell H. Epperson, 90, of New London, Missouri, died at 11:25 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2013, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.
    Graveside Services and Burial with Full Military Honors by Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post #55 will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Flint Hill Cemetery.  Rev. Richard Epperson will officiate.  
    Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
    Mr. Epperson was born March 8, 1922, in New London, MO  to Ohrie R. and Rosalie  Stone Epperson.
    He was married to Bonnie R. Brinker on November 7, 1946, in Hannibal, MO. She survives.
    Other survivors include 2 sons: Randy Epperson (Dian) of New London, MO, Brad Epperson (Cindy) of New London, MO;  2 Brothers: Harold Epperson of Center, MO, and Ohrie Epperson (Carlita) of Hannibal, MO; 3 Grandchildren: Leslie Arnett (John), Shawna Epperson, Ashley Epperson; 1 step grandson, Danny White; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He is preceded in death by 3 brothers: Owen Epperson, Lyle Epperson and Ralph Epperson; and 1 sister, Margaret Kuntz.
    Mr. Epperson was a United States Army Veteran of World War II.  He worked as an iron-worker for Local #396 in St. Louis, MO.  Mr. Epperson loved farming and working.  In his younger years he enjoyed showing cattle and livestock.  He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan.  Mr. Epperson was a member of Salt River Christian Church.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Ralls County FFA at Mark Twain High School in care of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
