Connie Sue Frederick, 59, of Palmyra, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.
Connie was born April 17, 1953, in Hannibal, Missouri, to C.T. “Junior” and Mable C. Whitaker Frederick.
Survivors include multiple cousins and friends; dear acquaintances, Tony and Jennifer Villeme and their children, Malaya Villeme, Conner Morkin and Jaelyn Villeme. of Palmyra, Mo.; and her precious dog, Honey Bear.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two dear friends, Erna Winhold and Norma Franks.
Connie worked as a home health caregiver for hospice. She also was a seamstress and quilt maker out of her own home. She had formerly worked at Connie and Mable’s restaurant in Philadelphia, Missouri, with her mother.
She was a 1972 graduate of Palmyra High School.
Ms. Frederick was a former president of the Marion County O.A.T.S. She had formerly served as a volunteer with the Gardner House tourist information center in Palmyra. Connie loved china painting and attending Civil War Reenactments. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Palmyra.
Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013, at the Little Union Cemetery, rural Palmyra, Missouri. The Rev. Terry M. Buster will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Quincy Humane Society.
Pallbearers will be Tony Villeme, Larry Kaden, Marshall Jones, Baron Jones, Bill Morkin and Greg Orr.
