    87, of Hannibal
    Etta K. Glueck, 87, of Hannibal, MO died at 5:42 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013, at her son’s home in Santa Fe, MO.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal, MO. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO. Fr. Mike Quinn will officiate.
    Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. A Rosary Service will be held at 8:00 p.m..
    Mrs. Glueck was born on June 9, 1925 in Marblehead, IL to Joe and Emily Frye Higgins.
    She was married to Bernard Glueck on June 24, 1977, at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death.
    Also preceding Mrs. Glueck in death were 7 brothers and 5 sisters.
    Survivors include: 1 son, Thomas H. Nelson (Shelly) of Santa Fe, MO; 5 grandchildren: Tanya Carlisle (Gary), Shannon Frederick (Donnie), Ronnie Nelson, Bobbi Schmidt (Brian) and Jamie Nelson; 8 great grandchildren: Amber Green (Nolan), Lindsey Frederick (Kyle), Lesley Carlisle, Dalton Schmidt, Loren Carlisle, Kaleb Nelson, Owen Schmidt, and Mickale Nelson; 2 great-great-grandchildren: Kinley and Harper Green; 1 special niece, Judy Garner, and other nieces and nephews.
    Mrs. Glueck retired from the Pastry Box in Hannibal, MO. She loved to watch western movies and spend time with her family. Etta used to enjoy caring for her garden, canning, and being outdoors, planting flowers or cutting grass. She was a talented cook that could make wonderful homemade candy, cookies and the best fried chicken. Etta was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal, MO.
    Pallbearers will be Ronnie Nelson, Jamie Nelson, Dalton Schmidt, Loren Carlisle, Gary Carlisle and Donnie Frederick.
    Honorary pallbearers will be David Garner, Denny Fohey and Betty Schoeneman.
    Memorials may be made to Community Loving Care Hospice in care of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home of Hannibal, MO.
