Munzlinger named committee head

State Sen. Brian Munzlinger, R-Williamstown, has been chosen to head the Agriculture, Food Production and Outdoor Resources in the Missouri Senate. The announcement was made Thursday by Senate Leader Tom Dempsey, R-St. Charles.

He has served as chairman of that committee for the past two years.

In addition, he will sit on the Gubernatorial Appointments Committee; the Small Business, Insurance and Industry Committee; and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
