  • The RSVP Program at Douglass Community Services will assist low-income individuals and senior adults with filing for the Missouri Property Tax Credit (also known as circuit breaker) for the 2012 year.

  • The RSVP Program at Douglass Community Services will assist low-income individuals and senior adults with filing for the Missouri Property Tax Credit (also known as circuit breaker) for the 2012 year.
    Low-income persons who own their home or rent a home from a tax paying landlord are eligible for the tax credit.
    RSVP will accept appointments for service beginning Monday, Jan. 14. Limited appointments are available. There will be no charge for the service for clients who are over 55 years-of-age. Clients younger than 55 year-of-age will be charged $5 for assistance. Any client, regardless of age, who wishes to have the RSVP office mail the papers will be charged $1.
    Beginning Jan. 14, to make an appointment to for assistance with the Missouri Property Tax credit, contact the RSVP office at (573) 221-3892.
    RSVP is a program of Douglass Community Services.
