Despite the fact that he'll be going head-to-head against David Letterman when his late-night talk show moves from midnight to 11:35 p.m. next week, Jimmy Kimmel has nothing but good things to say about his new rival. But Jay Leno, on the other hand? Not so much.
    The best performances of 2012
"As a comedian, you can't not have disdain for what he's done: He totally sold out," Kimmel told Rolling Stone, as reported by the New York Daily News. "He was a master chef who opened a Burger King."
This isn't the first time Kimmel has blasted Leno. During the Tonight Show debacle in 2010, Kimmel did a scathing impersonation of Leno on his show (check it out below) and slammed him while appearing on Leno's then-prime-time show. Leno later said he felt "sucker-punched" by Kimmel.
As for Letterman, who recently dissed Leno again, Kimmel says of his idol: "If I beat David Letterman in the ratings, does that mean I'm better than Letterman? No f---ing way."
Kimmel adds that he and fellow late-night host Jimmy Fallon are ready to eventually fill the Leno-Letterman rivalry void after the two retire.

"People are going to compare me and [Fallon] for years to come," Kimmel says. "We're being positioned as the Leno and Letterman of the next round. I like it because he's a very worthy competitor."
