The cause of a Saturday morning fire that caused significant damage to a residence in the 1800 block of Ruby Street in Hannibal is still being listed as “undetermined.” An investigator with the State Fire Marshal’s office was not utilized, according to a spokesman with the fire department. A department investigator searched the site for a cause and point of origin.
The residence suffered heavy fire and water damage in three rooms with smoke and heat damage throughout.
No one was home when firefighters arrived. There were no injuries.
