Philadelphia woman hurt in crash

A Philadelphia woman sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle mishap Thursday night in Marion County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident happened at 7:40 p.m. on Route Z four miles north of Monroe City.

A 2006 Chevrolet Uplander was being driven south by 51-year-old Kevin R. Douglas of Philadelphia. When Douglas lost control of the vehicle on the ice-covered pavement it left the road and struck a fence post.

Injured was 49-year-old Sheila A. Lorenson of Philadelphia. Lorenson, who was wearing a safety device, was taken by ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
