85, of Hannibal
Isaiah Money Muldrew, Jr., 85, of Hannibal, Missouri, and formerly of Gary, Indiana, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012, at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Linda Spaun will officiate. Burial, with full military honors by Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post #55, will be at Grand View Burial Park.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
Mr. Muldrew, Jr. was born October 7, 1927, in Widner, Arkansas to Isaiah M. and Katie Floyd Muldrew, Sr.
He was married to Charlotte Bobbie Dant on June 14, 1969, in Hannibal, Mo. She survives.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Sheron Muldrew Owens of Los Angles, Calif.; two step daughters, Sandra Ballenger (Rev. David) of Columbia, Mo. and Linda K. Head of Atlanta, Georgia; one stepson, Emory Dant (Marilyn) of Escondido, Calif.; three brothers: James Ross (Juanita) of Oxnard, Calif., Rae Field Muldrew (Abnereece)of Pacomia, Calif. and Dorsie Muldrew (Minnie) of Little Rock, Calif.; one sister, Dorothy Spicer of Lancaster, CA, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 daughter; Yuvonne Muldrew.
Mr. Muldrew was a United States Army Veteran serving his country during World War II. He was a retired brick layer who worked in construction for many years. He also loved to visit the horse races. Mr. Muldrew enjoyed his work.
