    Happening today: There’s just one big movie opening today, and it’s a huge one (though its star is tiny): “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” the first in a new trilogy based on JRR Tolkien’s epic book. “The Hobbit” is rated PG-13 and is directed by Peter Jackson, who directed the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.
