Park walking route released

A map of Huckleberry Park, showing the route to walk or run a mile, has been made available by the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department.

The route starts at the shelter by the pond. It is a hilly route that shares the road with vehicles.

The map is available at local hotels, the Hannibal Parks & Recreation office at city hall and the Hannibal Convention & Visitors office, 505 N. Third.

Also available is a map of Riverview Park, featuring a 3-mile course; along with 2.5-mile courses and a 0.3-mile course. The map shows the distance of Riverview Park’s newest pedestrian trails, Soap Hollow and White Pines.
