  • James Bush, who is accused of dog fighting in Ralls County, had his preliminary hearing continued Wednesday afternoon.
It has been rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wed. Jan. 9.
His attorney, Mark Wasinger, told Judge David Mobley a preliminary may not be necessary and if anything it would be waived.
"I think we're going to work this thing out," Assistant Ralls County Prosecutor Robert Rapp told Mobley.
Both attorneys then hinted to the judge a plea deal may be in the works.
Bush is not incarcerated at this time.
