The Ag Education Department at Mark Twain High School and Ralls County University of Missouri Extension will be teaching a computer class on Tuesday evenings starting Jan. 8. The class will last five weeks, ending Feb. 5. The class will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mark Twain High School in the Ag Education building in Center.
Topics to be covered in the class include: Using and searching the world-wide-web, creating a home computer network, integrating a smart phone and/or tablet with your computer and accessing the Internet, using Facebook, YouTube and other social media, computer security, managing digital pictures, and basic maintenance of your computer. Cost for the class is $20 per individual or $25 per couple if they share a computer. Pre-registration is required and may be done by contacting the Ralls County University of Missouri Extension office at (573) 985-3911. Enrollment will close on Jan. 4.
