The regular Palmyra R-1 Board of Education reviewed and discussed the Dec. 1 school board retreat/work session that took place Tuesday night in the office of the Board of Education.
Long-term goals were discussed as well as the strengths and weaknesses at the individual buildings. The overall consensus was that the time was very beneficial to the board and administration.
In other business:
• The board set the PRIDE Academy Graduation ceremony for 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at the high school.
• The application was accepted from Dakota Fox to submit for the Missouri School Board Association Belcher Memorial Scholarship.
• Both incumbent school board members - Chuck Keller and Martha Keim - came in to file for re-election.
