Ronda Oswalt will be officially sentenced next week.
Her sentencing was supposed to happen Monday in Monroe County, but it has been pushed back in lieu of the plea bargain she agreed to after pleading guilty last week.
Oswalt, who was the director of the Blue Ryno Foundation in Hannibal, admitted to stealing more than $52,000 from the organization established by former Major League Baseball star and Hannibal Cavemen ownership group member Ryan Klesko.
Oswalt gets a suspended sentence of five years (which is suggested to be served consecutively) in prison for all three counts of stealing in exchange for restitution and probation. Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd told Oswalt she is to pay $1,000 for the first count, $2,000 for the second count and $51,000 for the third count.
Formal sentencing will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 at the Marion County Courthouse in Hannibal. Oswalt has to present $10,000 towards the restitution as well as provide personal financial records which will in turn show how she plans to develop a payment plan for the rest of the money owed.
Oswalt is free on bond.
