Sheriff Stephen Korte reports that on Nov. 25 deputies with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jimmy Langley, 52, of Clarence.
A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Langley’s vehicle on U.S. 61 near Route UU for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, the deputy could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. A vehicle search was performed. The deputy located and seized marijuana, drug paraphernalia and prescription medication. The pills located were identified as Diazepam, a controlled substance.
Pike County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Fisher has charged Langley with a class C felony of possession of a controlled substance. Judge David Ash issued a warrant for Langley’s arrest with bond being set at $10,000 cash only.
