  • An 18-year-old Louisiana man suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle mishap Monday afternoon in Pike County.
    According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the crash happened at 3:59 p.m. on Route D at County Road 266.
    A 2010 Volkswagon Beetle operated by 29-year-old Brandon J. Rollins of Granite City, Ill., reportedly failed to yield while making a left turn. An approaching 1996 Toyota Corolla, driven by Bryson M. Kinkade of Louisiana, was struck by the Beetle.
    Kinkade, who was wearing a safety device, was taken by ambulance to Pike County Regional Medical Center in Louisiana.
